I love this tip! I often find myself wondering if this math or that is the right one. I hear people talk highly about one program and hear how the one I'm using doesn't work at all for their children. We compare whats working for our family and children. I fell into this trap in our early years of homeschooling. I think I switched curriculum a good 5 times in the first 3 years. We have found things that work for each of our children. Sometimes we still need to switch things up, but it's now based on what our children need, not what others are saying about a certain curriculum.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great reminder. We can get the grass is greener syndrome when we look at what everyone else is using. We have found some things that work great for us, and I will not allow myself to change!
