ReplyDeleteI have a few books like these and my daughter is doing so well with them. I would love love love to have this set for her to practive reading with, too!
ReplyDeleteAlyssa started reading at an early age and these books would be a great way for her to be exposed to sight words. I have tried to win a set like this on EBAY several times, but didn't have any luck. I would use these in several ways depending on how big the print was in the books. I would have her find, identify, and cover the sight word with an object (pinto beans, flat marbles, seasonal counters, etc.). I would also have Alyssa roll a die with sight words that were in that particular book and then she would find the words and read them aloud. And ... of course I would use them for independent reading or shared reading. She loves reading and has also been interested in sight words. I would absolutely LOVE to win this set of sight word readers. I can be reached at
ReplyDeletetlmswt2000@msn.com or at Tot Play: A Learning Journey. THANK YOU FOR POSTING SUCH A GENEROUS GIVEAWAY!!!
