Curriculum Clean-Out Giveaway!

This will be my first time particpating in this fun homeschool curriculum clean-out!  It is going to be so fun!  Hope I win something!  Hope you win something!  So, on to the giveaway!



I am giving away a wonderful set of 25 (YES, all 25) sight word readers.  My daughter loved these books!!  They are very simple and wonderful for encouraging your child to read.    I am offering a couple of ways to win so go ahead and give it a try!

1)  Leave a comment telling me how you would use the readers in your homeschool.
2)  Blog about this post and leave me a comment telling me what you did.
3)  Follow my blog and leave me a comment saying you did so.
4)  Subscribe to my blog and leave me a comment saying you did so.


This giveaway is open until Saturday, April 24th, 2010 and is only open to residents in the continental US and Canada (had to do that because of my 2 sweet Canadian friends who always seem to be left out :).  A winner will be chosen at random and I will announce the winner on Monday, April 26th which by the way is my 13th Wedding Anniversay!!  Please be sure to leave a way for me to contact you via your comment {i.e. blog address or email}. If I haven't heard back from you within 3 days, I will draw a new winner.

  41. Alyssa started reading at an early age and these books would be a great way for her to be exposed to sight words. I have tried to win a set like this on EBAY several times, but didn't have any luck. I would use these in several ways depending on how big the print was in the books. I would have her find, identify, and cover the sight word with an object (pinto beans, flat marbles, seasonal counters, etc.). I would also have Alyssa roll a die with sight words that were in that particular book and then she would find the words and read them aloud. And ... of course I would use them for independent reading or shared reading. She loves reading and has also been interested in sight words. I would absolutely LOVE to win this set of sight word readers. I can be reached at

  48. Hi, I'm looking to start homeschooling my oldest. He'll be 5 over the summer, and I just don't feel right about sending him to public K next year. We're doing a "practice run" for now to get hubs on board. Would love to add this to our personal library to help him start reading. Thanks!
